morning

today's my free day
yet i got up at 745 (AM, mind you)
to scour for tigercup final tics
went to 3 singaporepools outlets before i got 'em.
phew.
it was starting to feel like an impossible task.
the 7-11 near my place said it was sold out which was obviously rubbish.
one at rangoon tried to sell me scratch-and-win coupons.
what jewel of the rainforest. sheesh.
finally the turfclub ppl had some good sense to point me in the right direction.
and i got weird stares from males queueing to buy 4d lottery and stuff.
the old men in the kopitiams.
one even whistled at me. *shudders

had lunch with nydia yesterday at munchies
sky came by to drop my incredibles cd
it was so fun chatting with nyd dear!
gossiping abt boys as usual. hahha

went to my lit en2113 lect alone
and was so glad to see my 2 lit friends from last sem there!

watched coen brothers' the man who wasn't there (2001)
starring billy bob thornton
or, the man more commonly known as angelina jolie's ex-hubby.
anyway the entire film was black&white
it was apparently in noir.
whatever that means.
mostly boring with some bit parts funny.
i kept hoping the credits would roll
every time the screen fades to black.

and the lect made me miss my girls a lot!

how we used to laugh like mad in lit lects
mostly at my spastic-ness and hoong's hilarious comments.

sigh.
