madagascar

missed the first 10 mins
all thanks to goofball
who took his own sweet time up the escalators
and even went to use the ATM. tsktsk.
still it was subnemo standards
sure the cinematography was great - expected no less from dreamworks
the lil young lemur is awfully cutesy with its huge dopey eyes
monkeys with the charming accented english
the hilarious militant penguin organization with a wobbling strut.
not much of a plot or storyline unlike that of nemo's
(yes from now on i judge every cartoon with nemo as benchmark)
so i felt a lil ripped off in the end.
the theatre was bursting with families and students
kids erupting in laughter every 2 seconds.
whereas we were like, ok... hmmm ha ha.
ok lah, some parts were funny. i repeat, some.
i remember almost laughing nonstop during nemo.
so, madagascar wasn't all that great.
but the cuddling was :)

being the efficient shopper,
i hereby unveil my dream tankini...

midnight butterfly

available online at a local company 3dots
they have other pretty funky designs
but i am a sucker for this particular one
it has everything i want - black, tie-string bottom, pretty pink butterflies.
retailing at 158 bucks originally
now $126.40 with current 20% gss promotion! :)

i know the price still lingers in the high-end range.
that's why i'm prepared to badger alex to chip in
to enter forever21
go up to the queuing customers
and shamelessly ask them to trade cash for my $63 vouchers.

no matter what, i'm getting this.
cos i'm sick of trudging up and down orchard
entering stores charging almost 200 bucks for appalling tankinis
just because it has a seafolly/australian/ripcurl label.

anyone feeling guilty for not getting me any bday prezzies YET,
it's not too late!
you guys can still chip in.
pretty pleaseeeeee?

those who object to this transaction,
voice them now
or forever hold your peace. :)
