skaterboi
today goof and i finally went blading for the first time this hols, with hongkai and xueping. yep, i make sure to drag his very firm ass down to ecp and set him on wheels once every sem, which makes it a biannual event. most girls do it with shopping, but my preferred instrument of torment is rollerskating. i'm truly obsessed with blading. i love how it makes exercising so fun and tireless - i feel like i can blade on and on forever and forever. skater's high. heh.
goof hates blading. according to him, it's the "most exhaustive" sports of all, far worst than "playing soccer, swimming then running in a day combined". in fact, i just found out today he blades only because of me. the four of us made it to the ecp hawker centre despite goof's 180953 self-declared 'pitstops'; he then jogged the way back socks-footed, with his gigantic blades slung over shoulders and a cup of sugarcane juice in one hand. all i can say is i have to stop and laugh every time i glance over at him or i'd fall. even then, he managed to keep up with my blistering pace (hah). ok lah it was only then i got over my self-denial and reconciled myself to the fact that he must really loathe the sport (to do what he did).
the thing is, i've always wanted my boyfriend to be a skaterboi. so we can always head to ecp and blade til our legs lose all sense of feeling and give way. not those crazy stunts-obesessed ppl who always look like they lost a muscle or broke a bone somewhere. aiyah, he's neither. though i thought he's improved tremendously from the previous time and he did say he was enjoying it for one second before his legs resumed the sweaty, tense i-must-not-fall mode. guess i just have to make do with blading next to a jogger huh. it still baffles me. how can anyone not like blading. how can dick lee look so young at 50. how can. i don't get it.
but i really wanna try iceskating and cableskiing. saw a couple of angmohs doing it on the unnaturally spherical lake today.
undercharged someone 200 buckeroos at the starhub anni roadshow. told you i was bad with numbers. i had to spring for the deficit first but luckily the incident was resolved quickly. the customer was very nice to agree to a topup though he has every right to refuse. that's it, i'm not cut out for cashiering though i do love swiping money out of other ppl's bank accs.
