alright, here goes :)
name 5 things you miss about your childhood.
#1. grandma and her braised duck which i only ate once! my mom's mom. everyone listened to her. she was beautiful to me even with wrinkles and saggy skin. how she always had a smile for me. how she would fall asleep midway of my alphabet-teaching lesson. how she always laughed and anyhow played uno with me. how frightened i got when i realised she was gone forever.
#2. weekend visits to parkway toysrus and amusement arcade with dad. our special sundays together. just dad and i. i love the rides and got a kick out of riding them. i suppose dad got a kick seeing how excited and happy i was. didn't like it whenever mum came along. she would complain abt everything. how hot the weather was. how expensive frivolity cost.*rolls eyes*
#3. inkidz most ppl give the blur look when i mentioned this shopping mall. it was totally cool to me and it still is. it was underground and i always felt i was whisked to a magical place there. it had two amazing playgrounds. one with all the brightly coloured plastic slides/benches/little houses and the other one shaped like a space rocket where everything was a little darker more mysterous and slightly more dangerous. it felt like my secret place. they even had a quaint sesame street shop. i rmbed how upset i got when i realised it's gone. torn down or sth to make way for the mrt. aaah, nostalgia. what i'd give to roam that place again.
#4. my kindergarten bf with hair that curl at the ends. small eyes. jappish smile. it'd be fun to see how he's like now.
#5. the simple days where learning to write my chinese name was the toughest feat in the whole world. along with pronouncing "scotchtape" properly. and "thank you" is not "thankew yuu".
nyd, can i don't do the occupation one. no inspiration lah. haha
