post-vday

this post was meant for vday
but i guess work got in the way.

i think vday is an excuse for girls to strut around
carrying ridiculously large bouquets like nobody's business
imagine all the stares you would get on a normal day!
but no, nary a glance past your way on february 14
simply because everyone has grown accustomed to such sightings

personally, i've always been uncomfortable with bouquets
i have no idea how to carry them properly with grace and poise.
should you carry them facing out or turned inwards?
i mean, wouldn't it be very showy if you do the former
but you don't wanna crush the petals either with the latter
cradling the bouquet in one arm gets tiring after a while
whereas grabbing it by the stem just looks wrong.

yep i'm just hopelessly awkward with flowers.
i rmb there was once when goof got me flowers
boy i was so touched and excited and surprised for the first hour
then i just stuffed them into a paper bag after a while
cos i grew tired of carrying them.

it's so hard to get your ass moving on things you have absolutely no interest in.
help!
arghhh this inertia is proving to be quite insurmountable.
