guess i'm finally learning to let go
the realization just hit me this morn when i got up
i know i said i was tired before
but tired doesn't mean anything
you know you can be drained
and still be as obsessed.

i'm just gonna see you as a good friend for now
and i'm alright
my heart's being shattered in slow-mo
but i'm seeing it from a distance
sure there's sound but i'm not pricked by the flying shards

i can honestly say i'm not lying this time
relieved. the bittersweet kind.
well at least i'm moving on.
