new old flat

we've got a new old place!

after just three days of househunting.
super fast huh.
my dad apparently fell so in love with it
he rushed to the bank to settle the down payment asap.
guess he must be sick of viewing homes too.

i haven't seen the place yet (will be doing so tmr with the contractor)
it's the estate right opposite our current one
looks good from the pictures though
and i've got absolute faith in my parents.
if they are so enamoured with it
it can't be too lousy.
besides all i wanted was a place with good central location.

i'm just really glad and relieved to have a place to settle down in.

i guess i was feeling really crappy the past few days
cos of all the uncertainties revolving our future home.
these questions keep buzzing around my head all day.
where we gonna stay? will it be a good place?
are we really uproot and live somewhere far far away?
there was a brief moment when we considered farflung places like hougang.

i wanna be involved in every step of the way from now on
do as much as i can to help out
learn from the past and make our third home the best one ever.
if we hang in there together i think we'll be ok.

so i'm pretty excited.
time for furniture shopping. ikea!
